Peter Sposito Studio received the MBFW Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent award
Spanish fashion brand Peter Sposito Studio received the MBFW Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent award on February 18, 2024, at the 79th Milan Fashion Week. This award is aimed at identifying and promoting young talents in national fashion. Since 2013, emerging designers have been featured on the MBFW calendar and showcased their creations on the Allianz EGO catwalk.
Nine Spanish firms were offered to the competition jury for the fall-winter 24/25 collection (Adrià Egea, Anystudio, Coconutscankill, Dinomi, Evade House, Juan VG, Orioll Clavell, Peter Sposito Studio, and Visori Studio), as well as the international brand Toronero, invited from MBFW Mexico. The collections of young masters were united by the theme of environmental friendliness and the deconstruction of clothing.
The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent Award was presented to the creative director of the Peter Sposito Studio brand, Peter Sposito. The concept of his collection The RTW couture reflects the cycle of life: birth, growing up, adaptation, and death, represented as the change of seasons. The designer was inspired by his childhood memories and also used the trends of modern street fashion. The Peter Sposito Studio collection will soon be seen at MBFW in Mexico.
The MAL Studio Custom Project was another young brand that received recognition at Milan Fashion Week. He received the Allianz EGO Confidence in Fashion award.
