Spain ranked among the best countries for Easter holidays

The popularity of Spain as a tourist destination in 2024 is actively growing. This is evidenced by the statistics of accommodation requests on Booking.com. Spain has become the only country whose three cities (Seville, Barcelona and Madrid) are among the top ten most popular holiday destinations according to this resource. 

Spain becomes especially popular during the Easter holidays, when Semana Santa (Holy Week) is celebrated here. The most popular regions at this time are Andalusia, Valencia and Catalonia. And those who want to combine Easter celebrations with sunbathing, choose the Canary Islands. 

The list of Spanish cities with the highest tourist activity during this festive period includes Madrid, Malaga, Valencia, Seville, Alicante, Benidorm, Marbella and Barcelona.
