Eurovision 2024 second semi-final results: who got a chance to win the grand final

On Thursday, 9 May, the second semi-final of Eurovision 2024 took place in Malmo, Sweden. Representatives of 16 countries competed for participation in the grand final of the 68th song contest. The televoting of the participating countries, as well as the viewers of Spain, France and Italy, determined that the fight for victory will continue:

  • Greece (Marina Satti with the song Zari)
  • Latvia (Dons with the song Hollow)
  • Netherlands (Joost Klein with the song Europapa)
  • Austria (Kaleen with the song We Will Rave)
  • Estonia (5miinust & Puuluup with the song (nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi)
  • Norway (Gåte with the song Ulveham)
  • Switzerland (Nemo with the song The Code)
  • Israel (Eden Golan with the song Hurricane)
  • Armenia (Ladaniva with the song Jako)
  • Georgia (Nutsa Buzaladze with the song Firefighter)

6 countries were eliminated from the competition: Malta, Albania, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark and San Marino. 

During the second semi-final, the audience was also able to see the performances of representatives of the three ‘Big Five’ countries that are guaranteed to qualify for the grand final: Spain, France and Italy. Spanish electro-pop band Nebulossa lit up the stage with their famous song Zorra and had the entire audience singing along.

The Grand Final of the 68th Eurovision Song Contest 2024 will take place on Saturday, 11 May. Nebulossa will perform in the eighth position. The event will be hosted by Swedish comedienne, TV presenter, dancer and journalist Petra Mede and popular actress Malin Åkerman.
