From December 27 to January 5, Barcelona’s Toy Factory (Fàbrica de Joguines i de Reis) will be open again. One of the most anticipated Christmas events, as in previous years, will take place in the Fabra i Coats complex at Carrer de Sant Adrià, 20. Children will have a unique opportunity to see how elves and wizards make and package the toys that the Three Kings will bring to their homes on January 5, the most magical night of the year. Young visitors will also be able to give their letters of wishes to the elves.

Although visiting the Fàbrica de Joguines i de Reis is free, you need mandatory registration at www.barcelona.cat/fabricajoguines. But the event is so popular that tickets are sold out in the first hours.

In 2024, registration for the Toy Factory was scheduled for Tuesday, December 27, at 10:00 am. But due to the huge number of visitors, there was a service failure that could not be fixed for almost an hour. A few minutes after the scheduled start of registration, the virtual queue reached more than 7,000 people. At 10:52 tickets finally became available, but already at 11:50 all 14500 pieces were sorted out. As it turned out, 120% more people visited the site this time than in 2023, which was the reason for the failure of the registration system at the time of its launch.

In 2024, the Fàbrica de Joguines i de Reis will operate on the following schedule:

  • December 27 – 30 — from 17.30 to 21.30, with groups entering every 20 minutes;
  • December 31 – January 1 — closed;
  • January 2 – 4 — from 17.30 to 21.30.

The Fàbrica de Joguines i de Reis is one of the most interesting family Christmas events in Barcelona. But those planning to attend it should log on in the first few minutes after registration opens.
