From September 12 to 15, Madrid will host the Cachopo Festival

From September 12 to 15, lovers of delicious food and Asturian culture will gather at the Centro Multiusos de Las Rozas in Madrid for the 6th Cachopo Festival (Festival del Cachopo y Gastronomía Asturiana). The main «hero» of the event will be cachopo, the most popular dish of Asturian cuisine. These are two pan-fried veal fillets stuffed with cheese and ham.

During four days from 12:30 to 00:00 everyone will have the opportunity to taste «The Best Cachopo in the World 2024» and «The Best Cachopo in Madrid 2024». Complementing these masterpieces will be other popular delicacies of Asturias. For example, fabada, a white bean soup with ham, bacon and chorizo. The fair will also feature a wide selection of cheeses and sausages. And it’s all served with fresh Asturian cider.
