Hotel Tapa Tour 2024: your gastronomic journey through Madrid’s most luxurious hotels

Take part in the Hotel Tapa Tour 2024 in Madrid to visit the capital’s finest gastro hotels and discover their signature cuisine through tapas. These small snacks, bursting with bright and varied flavours, are an important part of Spain’s cultural identity. The Hotel Tapa Tour, taking place from 19 to 29 September, promises to be a true gastronomic journey full of discoveries.

For 10 days, 27 hotels in Madrid will offer participants the opportunity to taste 3 tapas paired with wine or a refreshing cocktail. On the menu, you can expect:

Tapa Nacional + D.O. Ribera del Duero;
Tapa Fusión + D.O. Cava;
Croqueta de Autor + Martini Fiero Spritz.

Each hotel’s tapas will vary in ingredients and flavour combinations, reflecting the restaurants’ signature dishes. Some hotels will also offer participants an additional tasting of the gastronomic duo Tapa Dulce + St-Germain Spritz.

No pre-registration is required to take part in the Hotel Tapa Tour. The cost of one tapa combined with a drink ranges from 8 to 13 euros.

The participating hotels are divided into 8 routes:

Route 1 — Barceló Torre de Madrid, Palacio de los Duques Gran Meliá, RIU Plaza España and VP Plaza España Design Madrid.
Route 2 — Hotel Montera Madrid, Pestana CR7 Gran Vía, The Principal Madrid and URSO Hotel & Spa.
Route 3 — Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, Gran Hotel Inglés and JW Marriott Hotel Madrid.
Route 4 — CoolRooms Palacio de Atocha, Pestana Plaza Mayor, The Madrid EDITION and UMusic Hotel Madrid.
Route 5 — Hard Rock Hotel Madrid, NH Madrid Nacional and Radisson Red Madrid.
Route 6 — BLESS Hotel Madrid, Hospes Puerta de Alcalá and Mandarin Oriental Ritz Madrid.
Route 7 — Hotel Puerta América, Relais & Châteaux Heritage Hotel Madrid and VP Madroño.
Route 8 — Barceló Imagine, Hyatt Regency Hesperia Madrid and InterContinental Madrid.
