Public transport will be strengthened during the grandiose Fallas Fire Festival in Valencia. The city center from March 15 to 19 is crowded with thousands of participants and tourists, and many streets and squares are closed to cars and other vehicles. Therefore, you need to plan more travel time.
To ensure ease of travel, Metrovalencia is changing the operating schedule of the metro and trams, introducing additional routes, and increasing the number of employees in transport and at stations. Municipal bus companies are also implementing the same measures.
From March 15 until the morning of March 20, Metrovalencia is open 24 hours a day. During the maslet (pyrotechnics show) from 16 to 19 March, the Colón and Xàtiva metro stations will be closed from 12:30 to 14:30. Trains will not stop here during these periods.
From 15 to 20 March, throughout the entire Metrovalencia network, it is prohibited to bring pyrotechnics and balloons into stations, trains, and trams, as well as take bicycles and scooters with you.
During the Las Fallas celebration, the Temporal Jove Pass allows passengers under 31 years of age to travel free of charge on Metrobus, Metrovalencia, and EMT. Other travelers enjoy a 50% discount on all multi-trip tickets.
