From 28 June to 7 July, the Spanish capital will host the grand LGBTIQ+ Pride — MADO 2024. Its celebration in Madrid attracts around two million participants every year and is the largest in Europe.
In 2009 and 2010, MADO won MTV’s TripOut Gay Travel Awards as the best gay event in the world.
The main locations of MADO 2024 will be Plaza de Pedro Zerolo, Plaza del Rey, Puerta del Sol and Plaza de España. And of course, a lot of fun awaits the city’s guests in the epicentre of Madrid’s LGBTIQ+ culture, the Chueca neighbourhood.
Traditionally, the festival programme is very rich. More than 50 events are planned for 2024: demonstrations, parades, concerts, parties, debates, competitions, forums, drag shows, theatre performances, exhibitions and much more.
