LOT Polish Airlines launches direct flights between Warsaw and Tenerife

At the end of fall, the Polish airline LOT will launch new flights. Now it will be possible to fly to Tenerife from Warsaw Chopin Airport. The first flight to the Canary Islands is scheduled for November 27. 

Direct flights to Tenerife Reina Sofia Airport (TFS) will be operated three times a week — on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Departure from Warsaw is at 7:50 and from Tenerife at 13:55 local time. The flight will take about 6 hours. The flights will be operated by Boeing 737 MAX 8 airplanes with a capacity of 189 passengers. One-way tickets cost from 600 zlotys (154 euros). The Minister of Tourism of Tenerife, Lope Afonso, said that the direct connection with Warsaw contributes to the popularization of the island among Polish tourists. In 2023, Tenerife welcomed 104,646 Polish travelers, and from January to June 2024, 69,738 of them were registered. Poles are attracted not only by the beautiful nature of the island, but also by the numerous options for outdoor activities, as well as the heritage, traditions and gastronomy of the region.
