Mad Cool Festival, which has already become a legend in the music world, will be held for the seventh time in Madrid. It will take place from 10 to 13 July at the Iberdrola Music venue in the Villaverde district. The programme includes such famous artists as Dua Lipa, Måneskin, The Killers, Avril Lavigne, Pearl Jam, Sum 41, Tom Odell, Janelle Monáe, Arlo Parks, The Smashing Pumpkins and others.
Performances will take place on 6 stages from 05:00 pm until deep into the night. You can find all the details on the official event website. Another convenient option is to use the app, which is available for Android and iPhone.
Mad Cool Festival was first held in 2016. And already 2 years later it received the NME Award for the best line-up of performers from the British magazine NME — one of the most prestigious publications in the music industry. The festival is among the most popular events in Europe. The number of its visitors reaches up to 200,000 people.
It should not be forgotten that Mad Cool Festival 2024 not only combines different music genres (rock, pop, indie pop, indie rock, electronic music), but also focuses on gastronomy. That’s why visitors will be welcomed by a food court consisting of more than 40 food trucks. The menu is the most varied, including vegan and vegetarian dishes, as well as dishes suitable for people with different food intolerances. You will also find several bars on site.
The festival caters for the widest possible audience. There are areas specifically designed for people with limited mobility. Mad Cool Festival is also open to children under the age of 16, provided they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Don’t forget to admire the huge festival space from the top of the Ferris wheel and take memorable photos.
