Paellarte, the first national traveling fair for paella and other gourmet rice dishes, will take place from 5 to 7 April in Madrid. The event will take place at the Montecillo de Las Rozas Multipurpose Centre. Its participants will be 10 of the best restaurants serving paella from the Spanish capital and the north-west of the region. Among them are: ZOKO Retiro, La Fábrica del Arroz, Restaurante Bahía, Arrocería El Trato, Arroces Lavin and Arrozitos.
Admission to the fair is free. On Friday and Saturday, the doors will be open to the public from 11:00 a.m. to midnight, and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 09:00 p.m. Every Paellarte guest will be able to try different types of paella at a special price of only 7 euros per plate. Tapas and desserts will cost 5 euros per portion.
The program of gastronomic fair also announced a variety of entertainment activities — live music, magic and cooking shows, tastings, games for young visitors, special promotions, and lotteries.
