Spain defeated Albania in the third round of the group stage of Euro-2024

On 24 June, the Spanish national team played against Albania in the last round of the group stage of Euro 2024. The match, which was played at the Merkur Spiel Arena in Düsseldorf, Germany, was won 1-0 by the Spanish team. 

Although La Furia Roja had already qualified for the play-offs and were playing with a reserve squad, Luis de la Fuente’s side played a great game and dominated the entire first half. Already on 13 minutes of the match, Spanish striker Ferran Torres scored a goal for the Eagles.

In the second half, the national team of Albania tried to seize the initiative, but it failed to realise a single goal. Thus, Spain became the absolute leader in the quartet, scoring 9 points. We congratulate you and wish you new victories!
