Spanish Alicante topped the ranking of the sunniest and warmest cities in the European Union. The list was compiled by SchengenVisaInfo using data from Holidu, one of Europe’s leading holiday rental companies. There are a total of 30 places in the ranking, and 12 of them are occupied by cities and resorts in Spain. They are perfect for relaxing in the spring:
