The best pizza in the world can be tasted in Spain

Did you know that the best pizza in the world is not made in Italy, but in Spain? In 2023, the authoritative international guide 50 Top Pizza gave the top spot to Spanish pizza chain Grosso Napoletano for the first time in history. It opened in 2017 and now has more than 40 restaurants across the country – in Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Zaragoza, Murcia, Pamplona, Seville, San Sebastian, Vitoria, Pamplona, Murcia, Gijon and more.

Grosso Napoletano serves authentic handmade Neapolitan pizza. The dough is made from the highest quality Italian flour. It is kept for 48 hours for double fermentation, thanks to which the pizza acquires a unique texture. Each Grosso Napoletano establishment has a real stone oven, handmade in Naples. In it, the pizza is baked for 60 to 90 seconds at a temperature of about 500 degrees.
