The city of Ronda in the province of Malaga hosts the International Guitar Festival for the eighth time

The VIII International Guitar Festival takes place from June 4 to 8 in the city of Ronda, province of Malaga. It features world-famous guitarists from Spain, Italy, Venezuela, the Czech Republic, Argentina, Croatia and Germany. The goal of the festival is to emphasize the versatility of the guitar. Here you can hear performances in classical, romantic, jazz, and modern styles and, of course, passionate Spanish flamenco.

Concerts take place twice a day in the former monastery of Santo Domingo, which now houses the Ronda Congress Palace. Tickets for the festival can be purchased here, at the tourist office, or at the RONDA GUITAR HOUSE, which is located at Calle Virgen de los Remedios, 23.

The organizer of the festival is the company RONDA GUITAR MUSIC, which promotes the Spanish guitar as an integral part of the history and culture of the country. In a multicultural space, RONDA GUITAR HOUSE holds daily Spanish guitar concerts for two seasons a year. The spring season lasts from March to June, and the autumn season from September to November.

If you come to Ronda to enjoy the famous Spanish guitar, don’t miss the city’s iconic landmark — the 18th-century stone three-arch Puente Nuevo Bridge. It is one of Spain’s most magnificent engineering structures and is also one of the Kingdom’s most photographed landmarks.
