The most hospitable hotels in Spain 2024 according to Booking.com
Booking.com has named the most hospitable hotels in Spain, which became the winners of Traveller Review Awards 2024. Among hotel chains, Paradores is recognised as the winner. The company, founded in 1928, offers room bookings in the best Spanish paradores and a host of active entertainment for guests.
H10 Madison (Barcelona) was recognised as the most environmentally friendly hotel. Its Stay Green sustainability programme involves 100% renewable electricity, solar water heating, heat pumps and the use of tablets at reception to save paper.
Hotel Rector in Salamanca has been named Spain’s most hospitable hotel. It is located in the city centre, in an old building dating back to 1930. The Casa Lis Museum, Salamanca Cathedral and the Roman Bridge are all nearby. It offers 14 comfortable rooms, a small gym, garage, cafeteria and relaxing lounges.
The most hospitable tourist accommodation in Spain Booking.com named Hotel Rural Via Avis in Santa Catalina de Somoza (Leon). The country hotel is housed in a restored 18th-century building and is a popular stop on the St James’s Way.
The Gran Hotel Brillante in San Esteban de Pravia, recognised as the most welcoming hotel in Asturias, was also an award winner. It is located at the foot of the mountain, opposite Castillo de San Martin Castle, and its 14 rooms offer stunning views.
Asturias itself has made it into the top ten most hospitable regions in the world, ranking 9th. And Spain was one of the countries to win the most awards at the Traveller Review Awards 2024. It was second only to Italy, which has been in the lead for the seventh consecutive year.
