The Noches en los Jardines del Real Alcázar concert series continues in Seville

The Noches en los Jardines del Real Alcázar concert series continues in Seville. From 20 June to 14 September, every day, except Sundays, at dusk the alleys of the Royal Alcázar Gardens will be filled with enchanting sounds. Medieval ballads, melodies of the peoples of the Iberian Peninsula, music of the Renaissance and Baroque eras, classicism and romanticism, jazz, pop, flamenco, European rhythms — the programme of the XXV season of the festival covers different eras of Seville’s musical history.

The 2024 edition will feature 75 concerts in 11 thematic areas:

  • Italy, the birthplace of the Baroque (Italia cuna del Barroco);
  • 100 years since the death of Gabriel Fauré (Centenario de la muerte de Gabriel Fauré);
  • 150th anniversary of the birth of Reynaldo Hahn (150th Aniversario del nacimiento de Reynaldo Hahn);
  • 75th anniversary of the death of Joaquín Turina (75 Aniversario de la muerte de Joaquín Turina);
  • 100th anniversary of the birth of Henry Mancini (Centenario del nacimiento de Henry Mancini);
  • 50th anniversary of the death of Duke Ellington (50th Aniversario de la muerte de Duke Ellington);
  • Generation 27 (Generación del 27);
  • Music from Spain (Músicas de España);
  • Music from Latin America (De Hispanoamérica);
  • Women’s Names (Nombres de Mujer);
  • The Year of Portugal (Año de Portugal).

Entrance to the gardens is allowed from 9:00 pm to 10:25 pm, with the bar open until 9:15 pm. Concerts start at 10:30 pm and last for 1 hour without interruption.

You can find the programme of the XXV edition of Noches en los Jardines del Real Alcázar and buy tickets on the official website. The ticket price is 7 euros. Children under 8 years old are not allowed to attend the concerts.

Before the concert, we recommend a stroll through the gardens of the Alcázar. The fabulous illumination and incredible lighting effects will be a wonderful prelude to the musical performance.
