The San Bernabe Fair in Marbella is a colourful festival with an Andalusian flavour

The San Bernabe Fair in Marbella takes place every year at the beginning of June. It is an event that is eagerly awaited by locals and visitors alike. Feria de Marbella San Bernabe 2024 runs from 5 to 11 June. The last day is the busiest, as it is dedicated to San Bernabe, the patron saint of the city.

For the fair, brightly coloured banners, flags and garlands are hung all over Marbella. But the main decoration of the streets are the women and girls in colourful traditional dresses. The mouth-watering aromas of pastries and tapas waft through the air, inviting visitors to visit the street stalls and vans. The main drink of the fair is the light and sweet cartojal wine, served chilled.

On San Bernabe Day, there will be a civic and religious procession to the Cruz Del Humilladero and a solemn mass. Visitors to the festivities will also be treated to live concerts in various genres, spectacular dance performances and rousing parties. The main venues for the festive fun are the day and night fairs.

The day fair takes place in Parque de la Alameda and Avenida del Mar from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. It offers entertainment and rides to suit all tastes, including a Big wheel and roller coaster, as well as a wide range of food and drink stalls.

The night fair takes place in Recinto Ferial, next to the La Cañada shopping park. It runs from 7:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. The level of fun is higher and the music louder.

And after Feria de Marbella is over, we suggest you drive to Ronda to see one of the main sights of Andalusia — the Puente Nuevo Bridge of the XVIII century. The journey will take just over an hour, and the experience will stay with you for a lifetime.
