Una Para en Gines festival will begin in Andalusia on October 3

From October 3 to 6, the 16th edition of the Una Para en Gines Festival will take place in Ginés (Seville). The festival, which celebrates the nature, culture and traditions of the region, has been declared an event of tourist interest in Andalusia in 2018.Thanks to a rich and interesting program that is complemented in each new edition, Una Para in Gines attracts more than 40,000 people to the city every year.

This year, the festival guests will again be welcomed by the traditional equestrian competitions, which are the highlight of the program:

  • XIV Morphofunctional Purebred Spanish Horse Competition;
  • Spanish Championship in training;
  • the XIII Equestrian Gymkhana;
  • stone transportation competitions on mules;
  • sledding obstacle course competition;
  • workhorse riding;
  • Spanish junior training championship;
  • Andalusia Cup final in dressage.

Competitors will compete for cash prizes of up to 3,000 euros.

In addition, every day it will be possible to take part in mini-classes of pony riding, visit exhibitions of Welsh ponies and purebred Andalusian donkeys, ride children on donkeys and visit a livestock farm with a small zoo. And also to take part in numerous competitions, contests and master classes for children and adults and to walk around the fair, where the products of local producers are presented.
