Valencia will host the Mostra Proava wine fair from 4 to 8 April

The 34th Mostra Proava Wine Fair will take place in Valencia from 4 to 8 April. It attracts thousands of tourists, hotel and restaurant industry professionals, tasters, sommeliers, winemakers and shopkeepers every year. This great event is a must-attend for all foodies who want to discover the best products of the Valencian community — wines, beers, liqueurs, sausages, cheeses, oils and sweets. Crafts will also be on display.

Mostra Proava will traditionally take place in the Jardín del Turia (Turia Gardens) between the Exhibition Bridge and the Flower Bridge. The fair’s opening hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (entrance until 9:00 p.m.). The exception is the first day of the event (4 April), when the fair will be open to the professional public from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and to the general public — only from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Entrance tickets can be purchased in advance on the PROAVA website.

PROAVA is a non-profit organisation that promotes the gastronomic activities of the Valencian Community and encourages the consumption of agronomic products produced in its territory.

Visitors to the fair will be treated to cookery shows, concerts and presentations. The most interesting location of the event is the Tunnel of Senses, a unique space where you can taste more than 100 wines and 20 olive oils. Professional oenologists will be working in this area to make the guests’ experience as vivid and complete as possible. Tickets to the Tunnel of Senses must be purchased separately.

Mostra Proava is perfect for families. There will be a children’s playground with safe rides, games and fun workshops.
