Valencia will host the Oktoberfest beer festival from 19th to 29th September

Oktoberfest Valencia 2024 will take place in the city from the 19th to the 29th of September. It is a real German-style beer festival, where you will be able to taste different varieties of the famous Paulaner and mouth-watering Bavarian snacks.

The festival marquees will be located in Marina Real, on the esplanade in front of the Hotel Las Arenas. The first kegs of beer will be opened on Thursday, the 19th of September at 6:00 p.m. After that, the parties and fun will last for a full 10 days. Monday to Thursday — from 6:00 p.m. to midnight. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays — from 1:00 p.m. to midnight.

Admission to Oktoberfest in Valencia is free. A half-litre of beer will cost you €6, a litre — €9. On the festival grounds, there will be a recreation area with tables and board games. Here you will also find food trucks serving Bavarian food. Their menu includes pork knuckle, German sausages, salads, fried chicken with potatoes, pretzels, and desserts. There are gluten-free and vegetarian dishes and beers.

You can get to the festival by Metrovalencia lines 5 and 8, getting off at the Neptú stop. Alternatively, you can take bus lines 92 and 95. The stop is Eugènia Viñes-Marcos Sopena.

And if you’re on holiday in Valencia, you can also visit the interactive dinosaur exhibition Dino Expo XXL, which we wrote about here.
