Refurbished hotels are opening in Lloret de Mar and Benalmadena

Two Spanish hotel chains are opening refurbished establishments in popular Mediterranean resorts in summer 2024. The four-star Best Tritón, owned by Best Hotels, will open this summer after an extensive 1.5 year renovation. The hotel is located in the town of Benalmadena (Malaga province, Andalusia) on the famous Costa del Sol. It offers 24-hour service, modern and eco-friendly facilities, outdoor and children’s pools, a terrace with hammocks and parasols, a buffet restaurant and pool bar, and a varied day and night entertainment programme. In addition, Best Tritón boasts an ideal location opposite a beautiful beach and next to the marina. 

Melia Hotels International has announced the opening of the renovated five-star Meliá Lloret de Mar hotel in Lloret de Mar (Girona province, Catalonia) on the Costa Brava. It was formerly called Monterrey, but was bought out in 2003, underwent a refurbishment and started operating under a new brand this summer. The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful exotic garden. From its windows you can enjoy magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea. The beaches in Lloret de Mar are among the best in Spain. The hotel offers a spa centre with a Turkish bath and a wide range of procedures, three restaurants and a swimming pool. For guests who prefer exclusivity, there are a number of additional services, in particular, superior rooms and access to The Level Lounge. The Gran Casino Costa Brava is close to the hotel, as well as the Lloret de Mar Municipal Theatre, which hosts concerts, theatre performances and circus shows.
